Guessing Mystery Monday – 3/18

Update: It was none of the 3. It was Wicked Little Letters.

AMC has had Screen Unseens since this past November, but Regal has had Mystery Movie Mondays starting in 2022. They usually have them the same day as AMC, and the same movie. For some reason though, AMC is skipping 3/18, so my travels takes me to the Regal theater in Walled Lake. I’m really not a fan of this theater. It always felt like it was a decade behind the others when I went there. I stopped going there in 2014 when on back to back attempts of seeing The Lego Movie, the projector broke. I already had at least 4 better options closer to where I lived at the time, so I just forgot about that theater. Now it’s back in my radar. Hopefully a decade has improved my opinion of that place. What movie will be shown though? There are some options….

So, first, we can eliminate Immaculate. It’s too short and it fits better with next week’s horror mystery movie. That leaves me with two good options, just like last week. I’ll try and redeem myself and pick Sleeping Dogs. It is really close to the runtime, and fits with the type of films that are selected for Mystery Mondays.
