Box Office Classic – Quarterfinals

It is the final week of the Classic, and for at least half the quarterfinals, it was really hard to choose who were the winners.

The winners of the Baggins and Toretto regions were not really hard to pick. I get Frozen is really popular, but Winter Soldier is such a great movie. Same with Django against The Lego Movie. Where it gets harder though is on the other side of the bracket. Guardians is one of my favorite MCU entries, but Inside Out always hits me hard at the end. It moves on and continues to take out major films.

The Everdeen championship is where we see this round’s Emma Bear Matchup of the round. There isn’t a bad Mission: Impossible movie. Rogue Nation introduced Ilsa Faust and Solomon Lane to the series, and they are both great in the movie. The underwater vault in Casablanca part is still a great scene in the overall series. Rogue Nation is not the best Mission:Impossible film for me though. That would probably be Fallout right now. Skyfall is my favorite Bond film though. So, it moves on to face Inside Out in Thursday’s Semifinals.
