Pixar has been part of my life since the beginning. I can still remember seeing Toy Story at a theater in Florida as one of the first movies I saw in a theater, if not the very first. I’ve found out, like so many others, that as I grow up, most of the movies just hit differently. This week, Inside Out 2 is released, and I’m sure it will destroy me emotionally. There are so many great Pixar entries, but which one is the best?
How this tournament will work: I have enlisted three others with opinions on the Pixar library, and they will go through each match and vote on a winner. Majority takes the win. This is done so Inside Out doesn’t automatically win if it was just me voting. I will have no say in any of the matchups for this tournament. With no further ado, we begin…

Semifinals
1. Toy Story 2 vs 4. Inside Out
Started as a 2-0 vote for TS2, but the third voter deliberated for so long, it caused the others to change their minds. 3-0 win for Inside Out.
14. Monsters, Inc. vs 15. Finding Dory
You can blame Randall for ruining the fun, but a 2-1 Monsters, Inc. vote ends the Dory run.
Final
4. Inside Out vs 14. Monsters, Inc.
By a vote of 2-1, Monsters, Inc. wins the tournament!
As I wasn’t a voter in this tournament, my beloved Incredibles never had a shot. It became clear midway through that it would take a lot to knock out Monsters, Inc. and it made it all the way to the end. Also, I haven’t seen Finding Dory, so I don’t quite understand the love my voters have for it. That is on me though. The next tournament will be next month around when Deadpool and Wolverine arrives in theaters. The theme of the tournament will obviously be Marvel movies.
