So, last week I went the Taylor Cinemark for the first time because they had their entry of the Secret Movie Series that night, after AMC and Regal shifted back a week. That one was also rated R, and an hour, forty minutes long. It was The Instigators though. I’m not sure why I never thought of that as a possibility, but it snaps my streak of correctly guessing the mystery movie. That movie being the 8/5 movie does open up an interesting scenario on 8/12 though. Let’s get into it.

Same rating and length means the same options are still in play. When AMC and Regal show a mystery movie, it has always been the same since AMC started Screen Unseen. Cinemark’s Secret Movie Series has been the same too. That leads me to think the movie on 8/12 will be The Instigators, and giving me back my Monday evening since I don’t need to see it twice. However, the wrinkle here is AppleTV+ relealed that film on the service today. Meaning it would be a “never before seen” movie the AMC always says the Screen Unseen will be. So with that in mind, i will go again with my guess last week that Blink Twice is the mystery movie on Monday. I also leave the door open for Apple to ruin the evening.
