Box Office Classic 2 Recap

Last year, when I was just starting the Instagram page for this site, I came up with the Box Office Classic. It was formatted after the NCAA tournament that takes over my attention each year. In that inaugural Classic, it was just me that picked the winners. Since then, I have opened up my tournaments to every on Instagram to vote on. I only participate to break ties now. We have gone through 9 tournaments now, but it’s time to revisit what started it all. This second Classic covers the Top 16 films in the box office from the years 1994-1997. Seeding is then based on how much money they made. So, let’s take a look at the films that took part.

I then took those 64 films and spread them out in the bracket to give things a mixed and even feel.

After going all of that, let’s see how voting shook out over the last few weeks.

The Lion King will also go to another tournament, but I will tell you about that in a few months. The next tournament will be #11 and begin on May 20th, and it will be between my favorite 16 films.
